A Bicentennial commemoration and reenactment of the first major battle of the War of 1812, portrayed on the actual dates.

Friday, October 12

The War of 1812: Songs & Stories
from New York and Beyond

4pm Off to War Cannon Procession
Center St. (from Portage Road to 4th St.)
Cheer on our brave troops as they prepare to invade Canada and
drive the British out of North America once and for all!

7pm to 7:30pm
Cannon Bombardment of Canada
Lewiston Riverfront, N. Water Street
Period cannonade with special fireworks presentation and music.
This will be the largest 1812 period cannon bombardment ever assembled. Listen to President Madison urge
his troops to victory at 6:50pm. Bring lawn chairs for seating. Area parking restrictions in force.
